Teach English Language and Literature as per the ICSE curriculum and academic standards.
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that develop reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking skills.
Conduct grammar sessions, comprehension, creative writing, prose, poetry, and drama lessons effectively.
Prepare students for internal assessments, projects, and ICSE Board examinations (Grade 10).
Design formative and summative assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive, student-centred classroom environment focused on inquiry, discussion, and appreciation of literature.
Integrate audio-visual resources, digital tools, and activity-based pedagogy to enhance learning.
Guide students in public speaking, debates, elocution, drama, and literary competitions.
Maintain proper documentation of lesson plans, assessments, student progress and records as per school guidelines.
Attend parent-teacher meetings, curriculum discussions, trainings and school events.
Promote reading culture by encouraging library use, reading programs, book reviews and literary clubs.
