Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated

Machine Operator

to handle sheet processing and final hose pipe operations using

fully automatic Special Purpose Machines (SPM)

. The candidate should be responsible, quality-focused, and able to maintain daily production records.

Key Responsibilities

Operate

fully automatic Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)

for sheet and hose pipe production.

Handle machines such as:

o

Interlock Machine

o

Corrugator Machine

o

Tube Mill Machine

Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth running throughout the shift.

Load and unload raw materials and finished hose pipes.

Maintain proper

fit-up, alignment, and quality

during machine operation.

Carry out basic adjustments and minor troubleshooting if required.

Maintain accurate

daily production reports

(output, rejection, downtime).

Follow all

safety guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards

of the company.

Coordinate with supervisors and production team to achieve shift targets.

Ensure good housekeeping and machine cleanliness.

Skills & Competencies

Understanding of

SPM machine operations

(automatic/semiautomatic).

Ability to read basic measurements and use simple measuring tools.

Basic mechanical understanding for minor adjustments.

Should have Knowledge of TIG Welding

Ability to operate automatic/semiautomatic machines.

Ability to follow instructions and maintain documentation.

Quality-conscious with attention to detail.

Measuring Instruments (Required Proficiency)

Candidate must be able to accurately use the following measuring tools:

Vernier Caliper

- Measuring OD/ID and thickness.

Micrometer

- Precision diameter and thickness measurement.

Steel Scale

- Layout marking and basic measurements.

Measuring Tape

- Hose/pipe length measurement.

Feeler Gauge

- Checking root gap and alignment.

Weld Gauge (Fillet/Butt Gauge)

- Measuring weld reinforcement and throat size.

Angle Protractor / Bevel Gauge

- Checking angles and bevel preparation.

Radius Gauge

- Checking radius conformity.

Dial Gauge (if required)

- Precision alignment for fixtures.

Preferred Qualifications

ITI in Fitter / Turner / Machinist/ Sheet Metal trade.

Experience in

hose manufacturing

, sheet processing, or SPM operation will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

Trainee Machine Operator:

0-3 years of experience
(Experience in SPM machines, sheet operations, hose pipe processing, or production work will be preferred.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
