standards.
Key Responsibilities
Train in cleaning, grinding, blending, and storage of spices.
Teach hygiene and food safety (FSSAI standards).
Develop
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
for production, packaging, and quality checks.
Guide on
new product development
(e.g., ready-to-use spice mixes, premium masalas).
Keep women updated on
industry trends
, packaging innovations, and shelf-life improvement.
Mentor women in costing, pricing, and branding of spice products
Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma in Food Technology / Food Processing OR 5+ years practical experience in spice/blended food processing.
Knowledge of
FSSAI regulations, food safety, hygiene
.
Experience in small-scale spice units, masala manufacturing, or training women SHGs preferred.
Basic digital literacy (WhatsApp, record keeping apps).
