Job Summary

The SPE-Medical Coding HC role requires a professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in medical coding and healthcare products. The candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts focusing on accurate coding and compliance. This position does not require travel allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Responsibilities

Analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather necessary information for coding Utilize healthcare products to streamline coding processes and improve efficiency Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and healthcare regulations Provide insights and recommendations to improve coding accuracy and efficiency Ensure all coding activities adhere to company policies and industry standards Assist in the development of coding guidelines and best practices Monitor coding trends and implement changes to enhance coding processes Support the team in achieving coding targets and quality benchmarks Participate in training sessions to enhance coding skills and knowledge Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding systems and methodologies Communicate effectively with team members to resolve coding issues Document coding processes and maintain accurate records for audit purposes

Qualifications

Demonstrate proficiency in medical coding with a strong understanding of healthcare products Possess excellent analytical skills to interpret medical records accurately Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure coding accuracy and compliance Show ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals Have knowledge of current coding standards and healthcare regulations Display effective communication skills for resolving coding issues Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to coding changes.

Certifications Required

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.
