Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication difficulties in students.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
Provide therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment.
Offer guidance and training to parents and staff to support communication development at home and school.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes.
Stay updated on best practices and new developments in speech and language therapy.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid license or certification as a Speech Therapist/Pathologist (as per local regulations).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting (preferred).
Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in children.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and engage students.
Skills:
Expertise in assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders.
Ability to adapt therapy approaches for individual student needs.
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
Collaboration and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
