ROLE PURPOSE
The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing and supporting children with speech delay, articulation errors, stammering, language comprehension difficulties, social communication needs, and developmental communication delays.
The therapist will follow structured goals, provide parent training, and work collaboratively with other professionals at the centre.
Conduct 1-on-1 therapy sessions (30-45 mins)
Work on:
Speech clarity & articulation
Oral-motor strengthening
Vocabulary building
Language comprehension
Sentence formation
Fluency (stammering)
Social communication
Functional communication
Use structured therapy tools like:
? Visual prompts
? Repetition & modelling
? Reinforcement
? Auditory feedback
3. Communication Disorders Covered
Therapist must be confident in remediation for:
Speech Delay
Articulation errors
Vocabulary delay
Stammering/Stuttering
Autism-related communication needs
ADHD-related communication gaps
Limited speech output
Echolalia
Low social reciprocity
Mild speech motor limitations
4. Parent Communication
Educate parents on therapy goals & rationale
Provide weekly home-based practice plans
Demonstrate speech stimulation techniques
Maintain respectful, professional boundaries
Work closely with:
? Occupational Therapists
? Behavioural Therapists
? Special Educators

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must have any
one
of the following:
BASLP
MASLP
B.Sc or M.Sc Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology
Internship / training experience in paediatric cases is preferred.
Freshers may apply if confident in handling children.

Monday to Saturday
10:30 AM - 6:30 PM
