A Speech Therapist, also known as a Speech-Language Pathologist, is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders. This role involves working with individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly, to improve their communication skills, language development, and swallowing abilities. The Speech Therapist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to develop comprehensive treatment plans and support the patient's overall well-being.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Valid state license or certification to practice as a Speech Therapist.
Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
