We are a well-established Multidisciplinary Child Development Centre located in Thodupuzha, Idukky, Kerala, offering comprehensive services including Developmental Pediatrics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Therapy, Special Education, and Speech Therapy. Our centre is committed to early identification, intervention, and holistic rehabilitation for children with developmental and communication challenges.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders in children. The candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design individualized therapy programs and support children in achieving optimal communication outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed speech, language, communication, and feeding assessments.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Provide evidence-based interventions for:
Speech sound disorders
Language delay and disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
ADHD
Learning disabilities
Stuttering and fluency disorders
Voice disorders
Oral-motor and feeding issues
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
Conduct parent counseling and provide structured home programs.
Educate caregivers on communication strategies and carryover techniques.
Follow professional and ethical standards as per RCI guidelines.
Qualifications:
BASLP / MASLP from a recognized institution.
Valid RCI Registration (Mandatory).
0-5 years of pediatric experience preferred.
Freshers with strong internship exposure in pediatrics may apply.
Required Skills:
Strong clinical knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
Ability to engage and motivate children.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Team-oriented and adaptable.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
