About the Internship -
This internship provides an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Speech processing. As an intern, you will collaborate with a team of experts on innovative projects aimed at enhancing multilingual ASR systems, supporting global ASR language expansion, developing generative-AI tools for automotive use-case, and supporting the data pipelines for build and delivery. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to the latest advancements in AI, specifically in speech recognition technologies in automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Assist in the research and development of multilingual ASR models, LLM Cloud and Edge models. Optimize existing processes for latency reduction, cost efficiency, and accuracy improvement.
2. Contribute to developing features, training & evaluation data pipelines and build & delivery tools to support global language expansion of LLM based conversational AI systems.
3. Explore and experiment with generative AI techniques in automotive use cases, including synthetic data generation, data curation, RAG, agent protocols, orchestration and context management etc.
4. Optimize and fine-tune existing models for performance improvements across diverse languages.
5. Document processes, findings, and results for internal and external reporting.
Qualifications -
Education: Currently pursuing or completed a B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, AI, or a related field.
Technical Skills (Must have) -
1. Basic Understanding of ASR Systems: Familiarity with how speech recognition models function and their underlying principles.
2. AI/ML/DL Knowledge: Strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and GenAI concepts. Familiarity with Attention Mechanism and Transformer based models.
3. Programming: Proficiency in Python / Java / C++ development with hands-on experience using PyTorch for model development. Optimise existing codes for latency reduction.
4. Ability to read, implement and present research papers relevant to industrial problems as hand.
Additional Skills (Good to have) -
Understanding of generative AI concepts, advanced speech recognition skills.
