About this opportunity

The Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 2nd Level Assurance is typically assigned to work with service quality assurance back office activities in an operations organization i.e. eTOM FAB.

The primary purpose is to be able to lead the team in providing second level preventive maintenance and system fault restoration. Fault remedy requiring on site presence is dispatched to the field operation organization. The position responsible will be required:

To delegate the tasks efficiently within the team so as to meet SLAs well within the time limits.

To ensure second level preventive maintenance is being done regularly

To prioritise faults to meet SLA/WLA.

To handle emergencies and if required coordinate with Emergency support

What you will do

To lead the team as one coherent unit and deliver as per SLAs.

Second level service problem restoration.

To ensure second level preventive maintenance is being done for all nodes.

To handle and analyse Trouble Tickets and recommend timely actions and solutions to Trouble Tickets when necessary.

To handle and implement the Change Request in stipulated time frame.

Raise CSR towards ELS.

To ensure new nodes are coordinated as per the standardized processes.

Independently handle upgrade/updates of live nodes.

Rollout of New Feature as per MOP

Interact with Customer\xe2\x80\x99s top level management to understand their requirements and give feasibility for implementation of the same.

To delegate within the team so as to utilize man power efficiently.

To identify and ensure that the team members get necessary trainings

Interface with other organizational entities such as D&P, National BO, GNOC \xe2\x80\x93 1st Level Assurance, Projects, FM etc.

Ability to perform under time constrains depending upon the business requirements.

You will bring !

Telecommunications knowledge e.g. telephony switching principles, traffic concepts, telecommunication networks, signaling and product functional demands.

General understanding of AXE, DX200, multi controller, VOLTE platform Traffic cases and Mobile Traffic cases. For complimentary products, broad knowledge of Unix operating system is essential.

Ability to learn the working of new nodes which are added in the network.

Ability to prepare implementation instructions without supervision

Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to Customer Service Requests and O&M queries of complex nature.

Good knowledge of support and supply processes.

Ability to provide collaborate with Design and planning team for capacity build up and new features.

At least 8 to 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience on Ericsson, Nokia platform in GSM, WCDMA, LTE & Volte and 5G.

Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
