About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused

Urologist

to join our multi-disciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of urological health and the ability to provide both medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
You will work in a technologically advanced, patient-first hospital setting, contributing to high-quality clinical care, minimally invasive procedures, and collaborative treatment planning across departments.

Core Responsibilities:

Clinical Management


Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of urological conditions, including kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction, and andrological issues.
Conduct and interpret diagnostic investigations such as cystoscopy, uroflowmetry, urodynamic studies, and imaging tests in collaboration with radiology.
Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans aligned with current clinical guidelines.

Surgical Practice


Perform a variety of surgical procedures including

TURP

,

PCNL

,

URS

,

nephrectomies

, and

laparoscopic urological surgeries

.
Expertise in

endourology

,

laparoscopic surgery

, and

andrology

will be an added advantage.
Manage both elective and emergency surgical cases with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.

Patient Engagement


Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, surgical risks, and post-operative care.
Offer long-term follow-up and support for chronic urological conditions and post-surgical recovery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


Work closely with specialists in nephrology, oncology, radiology, anesthesia, and critical care for comprehensive case management.
Participate in tumor boards, surgical planning meetings, and multidisciplinary case reviews.

Documentation & Governance


Maintain accurate medical records, surgical notes, and patient history in compliance with hospital documentation standards.
Contribute to internal audits, quality assurance, and risk mitigation practices within the department.

Academic & Professional Development


Mentor junior clinicians, medical officers, and postgraduate trainees (if applicable).
Stay current with evolving surgical techniques, technologies, and urology-related research through continued education and CME participation.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

M.Ch

or DNB in Urology

from an accredited institution.
Valid registration with the

Medical Council of India (MCI)

or applicable State Medical Council.

Experience:


Minimum

3 years post-qualification

clinical and surgical experience in a hospital or specialty clinic.
Demonstrated proficiency in

urological diagnostics

,

surgical procedures

, and

post-operative care

.
