Job Title Specialist, Tax
What does a successful Specialist, Tax do at Fiserv? A successful Specialist, Tax at Fiserv ensures compliance with income tax and GST regulations while managing internal reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end closure activities. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and precise tax reporting to support the organizations financial stability and growth.
What you will do:

• Manage and ensure compliance with income tax and GST regulations.
• Prepare and submit accurate tax returns and related documentation.
• Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing financial reports and statements.
• Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
• Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and accurate.

What you will need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in income tax compliance.
• 4+ years of experience in GST compliance.
• 4+ years of experience in balance sheet reconciliation.
• 4+ years of experience in month-end closing activities.
• Bachelors degree in Commerce

What would be great to have:

• 4+ years of experience with financial reporting software.
• 4+ years of experience in a financial services or fintech company.
• 4+ years of experience in audit support.
• Certification in Taxation is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
