Role Purpose
The role will be to carry out all Tax (Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing) activities including tax compliances, business support activities, audit support and project support w.r.t tax activities. The Job includes executing the deliverables in a qualitative manner based on business understanding, as per set timelines. The role will also require accounting knowledge with respect to tax accounts and ensure any closing balances are adequately justified. Additionally, dealing with all queries related to any tax / tax accounting issue is part of the profile. Job also requires dealing with other functions within and outside India GSC.
Key Accountabilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns in compliance with statutory timelines.
• Support the preparation of transfer pricing reports, including benchmarking studies and related documentation.
• Perform revenue and expense analysis to support tax and transfer pricing positions.
• Conduct research and analysis on tax variances, providing clear summaries for management review.
• Prepare and upload account reconciliations related to tax accounts.
• Prepare journal entries for tax payments, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Generate and maintain Withholding Tax (WHT) certificates and related documentation.
• Coordinate and arrange timely tax payments with relevant stakeholders.
• Extract, review, and organize invoices for tax and transfer pricing purposes.
• Ensure full adherence to SOX and internal control requirements within all process activities.
• Identify, recommend, and support the implementation of process improvements in consultation with the team/manager.

Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills, and Knowledge
Education CA /CWA (0-2 years of experience) or CA(I)/CWA(I)/Graduate with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
Experience Strong accounting and tax background
Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Conceptual understanding of tax law and practical implications
• Working knowledge of ERP environment
• Basic knowledge will be required in Tax, P&L Analysis, Balance Sheet review and reconciliations, MIS reporting, possesses good analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills
