Job Title Specialist, Software Development Engineering

:

• Follow SDLC process for report development.
• Participate in Crystal Report support and leads report development from requirements gathering to production deployment. Responsible for understanding/documenting business requirements and functional designs, turn those into system technical requirements, producing technical designs, developing reports and unit testing.
• Meet with user community to understand reporting requirements and then produce requirements documents.
• Convert design and user specifications into appropriate reports.
• Create sql commands, stored procedure and functions based on the report requirement.
• Design and development of Crystal Reports using graphs, charts, sub-reports and functions based on the requirement of report.
• Tuning database objects and report templates to provide optimum performance.
• Testing of all produced reports
• Work in late night shift to provide overlap with US working hours.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• B. Tech/MCA

Job Related Experience \xe2\x80\x93

Essential

• 4-8 years of experience in report development using Crystal Reports XI and 2016.
• Good working knowledge of databases SQL/ Sybase ASE
• Hands on experience creating SQL commands, functions, stored procedures and any other database objects required for Crystal Reports
• Experience developing Crystal Reports with graphs, charts and sub reports with both linked tables and commands.
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex reports based on business requirements.
• Knowledge of standards and best practices used in conjunction with developing reports with Crystal Reports
• Good communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision.
• Possess strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management
• Ability to learn additional reporting tools as needed to support the organisation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle pressure, work under tight deadlines and deliver finish products on time.

Desirable

• Experience on Account Processing Core
• Exposure to Banking and Financial Services industry with a good understanding of Banking Products, Services & Procedures.
