Job Title Specialist, Software Development Engineering

We are a SAAS company with several blue chip customers including some of the largest banks in the world, and we are looking for a J2EE Senior Software Developer to join our Banking application development team. In this role you will work in an agile environment delivering software solutions utilized by internal and external customers. The candidate should have a passion for development and possess deep development skills in the J2EE code base. As a software developer, you will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and integration tasks working within this highly visible-client focused web services application. Development efforts will also include feature enhancements, client implementations, and bug fixes as well as support of the production environment.

EBill product from Fiserv offers you a secure, convenient way to activate/deactivate, paper suppression of bills along with view my bills. There are different ways of enrollments into eBill like URL presentment, PDF/ HTML and Device wallet/Pass.

Consumer explicitly requests eBill (predominantly via FI channel today)and selected for easy activation trial. Summary & detail bill data inclusive of name, acct number, due date, amount due, URL link to detail, and other attributes. Data is used to deliver bill content to a single channel (primarily FI Bill Pay) for purposes of facilitating in-product/email alerts & payment for eBill subscribers,Forced suppression with 93% of eBill requests. Fiserv pioneered FI Bill Pay and eBill in the mid 90s and is the market leader in both categories eBill is a high margin, strategic asset for Fiserv, but there is a feeling of a promise not delivered. We have ~52% reach of all bills in the US for the verticals we serve via current relationships with billers.It has served as a competitive differentiator to the FI Bill Pay business where we have a dominant share of eBills distributed

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Resource to join our team as a Web Connectivity and Automation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining Firefox and Puppeteer scripts to establish connectivity to consumer-facing websites. This individual will play a crucial role in automating the retrieval of summary information about consumer content, e.g., bills, statements, notices.

What you will do:

• Develop, edit, and maintain Firefox and Puppeteer scripts to establish connectivity to consumer-facing websites.
• Configure scripts to handle authentication requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate the scripts with existing automation tools and systems.
• Train the scripts to accurately identify and retrieve summary information about consumers\' bills, including account number, bill date, due date, and amount due.
• Implement automation techniques to download all available PDFs associated with the consumer\'s account(s).
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to script performance, web connectivity, and data retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest scripting languages, automation tools, and web technologies to enhance automation capabilities.

You will need to have:

• Total 2 to 5 years of application development experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts using Firefox and Puppeteer in a Linux development environment.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, CoffeeScript or similar.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks commonly used in web testing and data extraction.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTML, CSS, DOM).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project requirements.
• Familiar with SDLC and build processes, coding standards and time/defect tracking tool.
• Experience in Git & JIRA proficiency, SCRUM/KANBAN environment.
• Strong in communication, teamwork, and coordination

What will be great to have:

• Finance or Payments domain experience.
• Previous experience in web scraping, data extraction, and automation projects.
• Familiarity with consumer-facing websites and the authentication methods they use.
• Understanding of security protocols and best practices for handling sensitive consumer data.
• Knowledge of API integration for data retrieval and synchronization.
