Danfoss is looking for a Simulation Specialist who will be part of the RAC RD&E organisation in Danfoss Cooling and will report to Head of Simulations in India.This position will be responsible to develop and maintain high Simulation knowledge to speed up Innovation, Development and Value Engineering Job Responsibilities Responsible in simulating Danfoss products with the expected accuracy Support to ensure that Danfoss simulation tools and processes are state of the art and pushing boundaries of what we can do today Develop Simulation Partners Analyse product designs by means of modelling and simulation to optimize the product and provide design recommendations Perform CFD and FEA simulations with primary focus on CFD simulations Recommend optimal designs changes based on simulations Increase the number of designs evaluated for products by executing parametric studies, and thus reduce the need for physical tests Use design-of-experiment (DoE) and optimization techniques to enable design space exploration or to account for uncertainties Lead technical projects in an agile environment Document simulation results and best practices in Model & Simulation in technical reports Lead and organize external engineering consultancy projects Supervise external consultancies Background & Skills University Degree in Engineering or similar education with a technical background Min 6 years\' experience in working with Modelling & Simulation in a Product Development or Scientific Environment Proven experience with CFD simulation topics such as (turbulent) fluid flow, multiphase flow, heat transfer, design optimization and Parameterization Proven experience with FEA simulation topics such as stress, strain, burst, acoustic, and Parameterization Preferably experience in thermal management (not Mandatory) Preferably experience with 1D lumped-parameter modeling of fluid networks Willingness to develop our competences further and extend your knowledge in other areas Preferably experience using Ansys tools (not Mandatory) Should have strong communication skills Danfoss - Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
