The Sales Specialist for the Revenue Assurance Team is responsible for optimizing revenue streams by supporting sales processes, monitoring account activities, and ensuring compliance with revenue assurance policies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify revenue risks, improve sales data accuracy, and drive initiatives that maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support:
Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless order processing, contract validation, and accurate billing information.
Revenue Tracking:
Monitor and analyze sales transactions to identify discrepancies or potential revenue leakage.
Account Management:
Assist with account reviews to ensure all services are billed and collected appropriately.
Process Improvement:
Recommend and help implement improvements in sales and billing processes to reduce errors and enhance revenue capture.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue trends, and assurance metrics.
Collaboration:
Liaise with sales, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues related to billing, collections, or contract compliance.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations regarding revenue assurance and customer contracts.
Customer Interaction:
Address customer inquiries related to invoices, charges, and account status, ensuring a positive client experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or related field (preferred)
7+ years of experience in sales support, revenue assurance, or a similar role
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and sales/CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
