The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate bi-weekly payroll and time processing of manufacturing sites throughout the United States. The Payroll Specialist oversees the automated payroll software SAP, and partners with HR and IS teams to troubleshoot and resolve system data integrity errors
Accountabilities:

Process end-to-end payroll processing for US Salty hourly employees, while keeping compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for payroll and tax processes.
Liaison with Salty Plants Payroll Coordinators to ensure timely completion of weekly & bi-weekly payrolls
Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits of payroll, and provide information and reporting of payroll information
Ensure processing and payroll posting are done timely and accurately.
Provide support to complex payroll inquiries to employees and management

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of payroll calculations, taxation, and regulations
2+ years processing multi-state / multi-FEIN payroll
Strong knowledge of HRIS (SAP HRP, SF)
Customer service and conflict resolution
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, with consideration to the right candidate with a combination of experience, certifications, and demonstrated knowledge.
