Description:
JOB SUMMARY:

The role is part of the Global IP function, responsible for Patent drafting, filing, prosecution, maintenance of the patent

portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patent drafting, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of patents. Analyze and Draft office action response Coordinate and collaborate with Indian as well as foreign patent attorneys. Law firm Management Ensure compliance with global IP laws. Patent Opposition Attend Patent office hearings requires a strong understanding of Patent laws of different Jurisdiction, excellent drafting skills, and the ability

to work collaboratively with R&D and different stakeholders.

Manage and maintain the UPL's patent portfolio, including record-keeping and administrative tasks related to

patent applications and prosecution

Stay updated on national and international changes in patent laws and practices 8 to 10 years of experience Strong Verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience.



M.Sc. . (Agriculture, Pharma, Biotech).



Registered Patent agent.



Project management, MIS reporting.



Instrumental in establishing processes and governances.
