Department overview Lease Accounting Team as a part of Portfolio Management helps in achieving compliance with the new lease accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP) to Clients from all parts of the globe. You will have an opportunity to provide an end-to-end process to ensure seamless transition into new standard. Your input will allow for undisturbed ongoing reporting providing reliable data for the Client\'s financial reporting purposes, incl. financial statements and disclosure reporting. Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to perform financial and accounting support focused on Lease related topics. What this job involves: Take on the responsibility for leading communication with clients Approving accounting calculations mostly under IFRS 16 / US GAAP ASC 842 Play an oversight role in a profound assistance with Financial & Accounting Reporting Build strong relationships and support the client\'s real estate / finance teams with regular reporting and dealing with any ad-hoc queries / information requests Provide expertise for internal and external clients with analyses focused on real estate, accounting and finance Oversight, validation and verification of data while conducting qualitative analyses Leading Lease Accounting process refinement Taking active part in cross-team initiatives within whole Portfolio Operation Services People management Every day is different, and in all these activities, we\'d encourage you to show your ingenuity. Sound like you To apply you need to be / have: Fluent English. Any second foreign language would be an advantage Bachelor\'s / M.A. degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics Knowledge of IFRS 16 or ASC 842 is required CPA certification is a big advantage Financial and accounting acumen, being at the final stages of ACCA or equivalent would be an asset At least 4 years of work experience within audit, finance and accounting area Very good knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, elements of VBA would be an asset People-orientation, with demonstrated conceptual and visualization skills Experienced in people management Very good organizational skills Strongly developed communication and presentations skills Analytical mind, accuracy and can-do attitude Creative and pragmatic mind-set What you can expect from us: You\'ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
