The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

To take full responsibilities of end to end delivery of the process, quality and timelines mentioned under Business and Processes column.

Business

  • Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of role.
  • Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
  • Contribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and where risk and compliance matters are addressed and misconduct appropriately dealt with.
Processes
  • Individual Accountability assurance check for JR and Non-JR process.
  • Perform maker and checker process to validate Fit to Hire documents and Annual Certification.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with increased accuracy and risk related controls for Fit to Hire process.
  • Deliver accuracy levels at 100% on all delivery.
  • Building the governance mechanism around Fit to Hire reports which is published to the stakeholder.
  • Actively co-ordinate with the stakeholders for any process gaps.
  • 100% availability and review of POI signed off by the product owners.
  • Issuance of the Fit and Proper certificate before the start of the CP role.
  • Ensure all documents are stored in e-ops under the respective employee\'s personal files.
  • Provide required information with the internal risk team for conducting the CST checks every quarter.
  • Provide the Fit for Hire documents to IA compliance to perform quality checks on IA certification process.
  • Publish Individual Accountability tracker / report to Governance and CFCC team on weekly / monthly basis.
  • Ensure to deliver the F&P certificate for season activities like MRT inclusion and Promotion within the SLAs.
  • Assist for internal audits and risk requirements.
Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the team] to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

  • Good in stakeholder management, should have interacted with senior managers in the bank (directly / indirectly).
  • Good written and spoken skills.
  • Should have Excel knowledge.
