Job Description

Title:

Specialist, HSE Support the development and implementation of HSE management system (including objectives, processes, and assurance) to meet requirements International Standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)*
Ensuring employees are familiar with HSE Policy and the requirements of the Company's HSE Management Systems*
Conduct audits/inspections and monitors follow-through corrective actions*
Promoting a systematic approach to management of HSE activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.*
Ensure Risk Assessment and RA register is updated and reviewed annually.*
Conduct incident investigations, including Root Cause analysis.*
Support tender process with reference to supplier/sub-contractor HSE qualification, selection, and assessment.*
Familiarity with local legislative framework*
Maintain Environmental impact/aspect register*
Identify HSE training needs and conduct training programs.*
Coordinate with internal focus groups on Sustainability initiatives*
Lead crisis management exercises for office/sites in accordance with emergency response plan.*
Manages security protocols for office and travellers*
Flexibility to travel for site visits/inspections*

Qualifications and Skills:

Tertiary education in Engineering / Industrial Safety or related discipline with NEBOSH IGC*
7 years' experience in site and office HSE management (construction / oil & gas)*
Internal auditor qualification is preferred (ISO 14001/ISO 45001)*
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills*
Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills*
Ability to write and review procedural documents, present information clearly & concisely*
Self-starter, Proactive attitude, Influencing skills with various stakeholders*
