Job Description

The HR Compliance & Governance Function is responsible for the India's Compliance & Governance with all applicable Employment & Labour Laws as well as Internal HR policies and processes. This group works in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify, mitigate, monitor and report India HR related risks and non-compliances.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks:




Monitor & maintain a healthy HR compliance status for the organization by ensuring compliance to regulations (employment & labour law), internal policies & processes and customer contractual obligations. Collaborate with Compliance Leads, HR Heads and other stakeholders to deploy and drive compliance initiatives within the BG/Geography/Function as well as design and implement tailored initiatives as needed. Identify HR risks/gaps through risk assessments, compliance reviews and audits and mitigate them through implementation of appropriate internal controls. Implement measures to improve compliance awareness on ground and strengthen culture of compliance. Identify opportunities and take end to end responsibility for digitization, automation, policy & process improvements and work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen compliance controls. Cultivating strong relationships with various stakeholders, including Government Authorities, internal departments, and other external stakeholders.
