Position Overview
We are hiring for the position of
Specialist - Fuel Hydrant System
shall for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. The Specialist - Fuel Hydrant System will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of aviation fuel hydrant systems at airports. This role requires deep technical expertise in fuel hydrant systems, compliance with AAI standards, and the ability to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient fuel distribution operations. The candidate will also oversee quality assurance, safety protocols, and adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of aviation fuel hydrant systems in compliance with AAI standards and international best practices.
Conduct detailed site inspections, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for fuel hydrant system projects.
Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for fuel hydrant systems.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to fuel hydrant systems, including fire safety and pollution control measures.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in fuel hydrant system operations.
Oversee quality assurance and control processes to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed AAI and industry standards.
Monitor and manage the maintenance and operational efficiency of fuel hydrant systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Prepare and present project reports, technical documentation, and compliance records to AAI and other stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and training to teams involved in the operation and maintenance of fuel hydrant systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of aviation fuel hydrant systems, with at least 3 years of experience in airport projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering fuel hydrant system projects within scope, schedule, and budget, adhering to AAI or equivalent standards.
Strong knowledge of AAI guidelines, ICAO standards, and other regulatory requirements related to aviation fuel systems.
Proficiency in relevant design and simulation software for fuel hydrant systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
Preferred Attributes
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications in fuel system design, such as API (American Petroleum Institute) or equivalent.
Extensive experience working on projects for AAI or other aviation authorities.
Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient practices in fuel hydrant system design and operation.
Expertise in advanced technologies for fuel monitoring, leak detection, and automation in hydrant systems.
