esponsibilities
S

upport the day-to-day operation and development of WSP's E&C program in Europe and Africa by: S
+ upporting the Regional Ethics & Compliance Officers in conducting and documenting Due Diligence and Project Integrity Reviews (e.g. High-Risk Countries, Clients and Third Parties).
S
+ upporting activities that mitigate any third-party risk because of Due Diligence findings.
M
+ aintaining Project Integrity Review-related databases and trackers of follow-up actions where applicable.
C
+ onducting checks and compliance audits on Project Integrity Review mitigation steps.
A
+ ssisting ongoing optimisation of Project Integrity Review and other Standard Operating Procedures to promote efficient and effective management.
A
+ dministering the Ethics & Compliance Tools, such as:

+ ifts, Entertainment and Hospitality Registry
P
+ ersonal COI Registry
O
+ rganisational COI Registers
C
+ ontributing to Risk, Ethics & Compliance quarterly reporting by assisting with data collection.
S
+ upporting the roll-out of new or updated policies and procedures, at the request of the Regional Ethics & Compliance Officers.
S
+ upporting anticorruption risk assessment activities and ongoing risk reviews at the request of the Regional Ethics & Compliance Officers.

+ ssisting in the creation of "Ethics Shares" and other learning and awareness tools for the wider business.

+ roviding other support functions to the Ethics & Compliance Team, as requested, and as your own understanding of WSP's E&C program grows.

ualifications & Experience

achelor's degree 3
-5 years of relevant professional experience preferably in Quality Assurance, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Procurement, Audit or Risk S
ignificant experience in preparing written reports and documents in English C
areful attention to detail I
ntellectual curiosity and outstanding research skills E
ase in manipulating databases and similar IT and data management systems P
roven experience with Office 365 (primarily in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams & CoPilot) K

xperience in conducting online research, including on due diligence databases and vendor tools; creativity in finding ways to document findings, prove/disprove unconclusive findings, or complete the profile of a target; ability to know what findings are immaterial to the exercise. I
ntellectual curiosity about business operational and reputational risk factors, such as geopolitics, human rights, legal case history and the news, which will provide the context and background for the work. E
xperience with compliance, audit and assurance activities. A
bility to provide clear and concise written findings and verbal updates or reports. H
ighest ethical standards. S
elf-motivation to be able to work with geographically remote supervisors and a fast-paced working environment; good time management, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; reliability in meeting deadlines; occasional flexibility in working hours to allow for calls with other timezones. onfidence and judgment/tact to know what to bring up, and when, if needed, to challenge colleagues persuasively and constructively. A
bility to learn how to navigate different systems and databases efficiently. S
trong English language skills, written and verbal, are required. W
orking knowledge in any other European language would be considered positively. E
xperience supporting E&C / Audit / Investigation programs will be considered positively. W
