Your new role - Challenging and future oriented Detailed Job Requirements: As a Radio System Specialist Engineer working for Railway Projects, your role includes: 2. You are responsible for the implementation and engineering of radio SW along the whole project (and product) lifetime in time of Broadband Radio Systems 3. You are responsible for SW maintenance of the dedicated radio products and solutions 4. You are leading SW engineering and adaptation for new HW platforms in close collaboration with product management 5. Based on the customer requirements you elaborate use- and business cases as well as system specifications as part of the SW architecture 6. During the development you control the work progress and evaluate the results. This includes the control of internal and external suppliers. 7. You support project by provision, test and integration of SW packages. 8. You develop innovative applications from the prototype status (minimal viable product) to a mature product. 9. You are familiar with related telecommunication standards as well railway related standards (EN 50128, if applicable), telecommunication and preferably railway design engineering methodologies We don\'t need superheroes, just super minds You have degree (Master/Bachelors) in technical engineering, preferably in electrical/electronics engineering with 10 years of relevant experience Technical knowledge on Telecommunication subsystems of a railway project. Experience in reading and understanding technical requirements. Basic knowledge on EN standards, IEEE, ITU-T, IT sec standards is a value addition. Familiar with Configuration tools like DOORS ClearQuest, MS Word , MS Excel , MS Visio. Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens This role is based in Pune.
