Essential Job Functions:

  • Focuses on service management discipline to minimize business impact
  • Performs tasks related to telecommunication operations, installation, and maintenance for local, off-site, and remote locations
  • Designs, configures, deploys, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots voice and video telecommunications components
  • Ensures a secure, high-performance voice/video network
  • Documents and maintains global and ITIL standards, processes, specifications, records, and form layouts
  • Analyzes and translates business requirements and user needs into engineering, design, and technical specifications
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and internal/external customers
  • Prepares cost estimates for current and proposed telecommunications initiatives
  • Advises on administrative policies, procedures, technical issues, priorities, and methods related to telecommunications
  • May take responsibility for network convergence workstreams
Telecommunications Responsibilities
  • Designs, plans, and leads the implementation of telecommunication systems
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing voice, data, and video systems
  • Reviews work in progress and recommends corrective actions to keep projects on schedule
  • Writes and maintains operating manuals and prepares activity and progress reports
  • Ensures installed systems are operating effectively
  • Provides guidance to technicians and analysts responsible for system installation and maintenance
  • Assists in training, orienting, assigning, and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Prioritizes projects based on business needs
  • Recommends solutions using analysis of telecommunication diagnostics, usage, and programming data
  • Manages short-term projects to successful completion
  • May manage network convergence projects
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in operational support or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to validate systems and applications using defined checklists.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets to create reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Previous experience in CRM including experience not limited to hands-on with SAP and Salesforce for case handling and workflow updates. Skilled in maintaining accurate records and completing end to end processes.
  • Strong experience in transaction processing and data management while handling high volume tasks like validation, documentation, and reconciliation.
  • Specialized in non-voice operational support, including email processing, CRM updates, documentation handling, and workflow monitoring. (only internal calls)
  • Experience in transitioning new activities, including process mapping, SOP creation, knowledge transfer, and stabilization of migrated tasks.
  • Well versed in BPO operational frameworks, including SLA/KPI management, productivity tracking, quality checks, and escalation handling i.e. efficiently in fast-paced BPO environments.
