Specialist, Contract Management

The Specialist, Contract Management, within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) organization, provides data entry and contract management support to the Human Health Contracting team by managing contract data asset metadata collection, entry, knowledge management system integration and data sharing permissions to create an advanced, compliant, transparent data ecosystem.

This role will be a lead, super user of the contract management system responsible for entry of contracts, compliance documents and data asset metadata. This position works largely with internal stakeholders to advance new governance and knowledge management processes as well as support business rules for access management. Direct communication is required with functional business owners, IT personnel, data stewards, Procurement, Knowledge Management, and other key personnel.

Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

Reviewing and entering contracts and data asset metadata into contract management system

Ensuring appropriate turn around time on all contract and metadata data entry

Perform routine quality assurance checks on metadata

Monitor and update existing metadata when required

Track down information for documents that are incomplete

Update contracting SOPs and work instructions to ensure processes are maintained to reflect adaptive governance and best practices

Prepare relevant reports on contracting key performance indicators as needed

Search for and investigate information contained in files

Organize, prepare, and submit purchase order requests

Education Minimum Requirement

BA/BS Required

Required Experience and Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
