We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in India.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:
Developing feasibility/concept studies and detailed design of electrical services in buildings
Designing of complete electrical lighting and power distribution engineering in buildings according to the International regulations, standards and codes
Preparing design calculations using software like Amtech, Dialux and Microsoft products
Working as per international technical quality standards and delivering projects on time and within budget
Checking and presenting the work carried out by other engineers/CAD technicians in their project
Responsible for Compliance with COWI QA/QC procedures and implementation of procedures
Liaising with international customers in a responsive and client focused manner

Furthermore, you'll have:
B. Tech/B.E in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 12 years of industry experience or M. Tech in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 10 years of industry experience
Knowledge of International Codes related to lighting, power and security system - IEC, BS, CIBSE, NFPA Standards
Proficiency in design calculations using software Amtech, Dialux, and Microsoft products
Knowledge of American codes of practice and experience in applying European and/or British codes of practice on building projects
Experience in working with design software such as AUTOCAD and Revit
Experience in working with electrical design in accordance to International Standards and automation associated with electrical systems
Experience in sizing of UPS, battery banks, SMDB and MDB including preparation of load lists, upstream and downstream cable sizing calculations etc.
Ability to review/evaluate customer project specifications to identify electrical hardware, control panel, power and rotating requirements
Experience in working with international engineering consultancy company
