Where You'll Make a DifferenceDownload bank statements from the bank portal as required and ensure timely reconciliation of feeds received in SAP.
Perform daily cash application based on remittances and research on-account items for accurate allocation.
Maintain and clear suspense accounts while updating comments for open items in Blackline related to customer accounts.
Process small balance write-offs and handle refund requests for duplicate, over, or incorrect customer payments.
Periodically update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect process improvements and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with AP, GL, and onshore teams to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth operations.
Understand upstream and downstream processes and their impact on cash application and reconciliation activities.
Mentor team members, resolve their queries, and coordinate with related teams to address issues promptly.
Consistently meet daily productivity and quality targets while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
What Makes You the Right FitBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
2-3 years of experience in Cash Application processes.
Proficiency in SAP and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and email applications.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Flexible with work responsibilities and adaptable to changing schedules.
Knowledge of month-end activities with the ability to proactively identify and address issues.
Strong adherence to compliance standards and internal controls.
Ability to initiate and contribute to process improvement ideas.
Collaborative mindset with capability to work effectively across teams.
