:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 08S&P Global CorporateThe Role: Specialist, Cash ApplicationThe Team: The Cash Application team is responsible for allocating client payments in line with business process. Handling generic mailbox related to all sort of general queries of cash application and to resolve payment related discrepancies is the major responsibility. Responsibilities:

• Allocating client payments in SAP in line with business process and client instructions.
• Handling all exceptions cash application scenarios (partial, over & duplicate payment), Early payment discount allocation, FX losses, adjustment etc.
• Processing customer refunds and bad debt write-offs.
• Managing generic mailbox addressing all queries related to cash application.
• Responding to internal and external auditors.
• Assisting cash apps wider team members as primary and secondary backup.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience of allocating customer payments & addressing cash application queries in a credit control environment is must.
• Experience of working in a global and geographically diverse organization.
• Excellent systems knowledge including SAP & MS office.
• B.com/ MBA
• Driving results ensuring timelines with utmost accuracy
• Working with the mindset of ownership & Work prioritization
• Diligence, integrity and Team Player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Amenable to work 12pm-9pm IST
