Manage asset and project accounting, including timely capitalization and smooth transition of projects to fixed assets in line with accounting standards.
Maintain accurate asset lifecycle records and ensure completeness and accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register.
Prepare and deliver accurate CapEx, depreciation, and asset-related reports.
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and ensuring audit readiness.
Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
Perform first-level reviews of asset accounting activities and provide guidance on process and policy interpretation.
Support and lead finance initiatives aimed at improving day-to-day operations and reducing manual effort.

Reports to: Team Leader / Assistant Manager - FAP
Direct reports: None
Key stakeholders include Financial reviewers/approvers, DS COE team, FP&A and Business Support, Global Financial Reporting, Global Technology teams, GFS teams, and statutory and tax auditors.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience; professional certifications are an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in capital or fixed asset accounting.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of accounting principles and their practical application
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with accounting systems such as PeopleSoft and/or Essbase preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Awareness of accounting policies and internal control frameworks
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Other Requirements
Flexibility to work across multiple shifts as per business requirements and organizational policies.
