: We are in search of a Development Lead with hands-on experience in client/server and cloud hosted solutions. In this role, you will primarily work with MicroFocus and Veryant COBOL and GitLab for repository and CI/CD. As a Lead Associate, you will be responsible for architecting new features, developing features from scratch, refactoring existing code, reviewing code and design, enforcing secure coding practices, and overseeing developer architecture and code changes through to completion in a live production environment.


Summary:


The Specialist, Business Analyst position is responsible for leading product management efforts for complex business critical applications and services. The individual will work throughout the organization coordinating product efforts and gathering requirements across operations, customer relationship management and technology. Additional responsibilities include interacting with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing and documenting requirements for software enhancements and new products, providing succinct, clearly defined User Stories that can then be presented to the Agile project team with clearly identifiable acceptance criteria.


Key Functions:

+ Manage complex products coordinating requirements and deliverables across multiple business units. + Report accurate project status to management on a consistent basis
+ Work with Business Users / Stakeholders across different levels of the organization or external clients to identify, analyze and document business requirements as 'User Stories' for Agile.
+ Participate in Product Owner and Scrum Team Agile grooming sessions to define and present User Stories
+ Analyze and document existing applications and processes
+ Effectively participate in meetings, calls, etc. in a variety of roles ranging from facilitator to requestor, to solutions coordinator, to consultant.
+ Build and maintain day-to-day internal and external relationships in order to provide an ongoing high-quality level of service to customers.
+ Collaborate with other analysts and project contributors to create comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches

Requirements:



+ Bachelors/Masters degree required or equivalent experience + 8-9 years of Business Analysis experience
+ Securities Processing knowledge is mandatory, specifically corporate actions
+ Experience working in an Agile development environment highly desired.
+ Knowledge of corporate actions is a must.
+ Significant exposure to Capital Markets domain is mandatory.
+ Experience with ISO20022 or Swift message experience would be preferred.


Knowledge:

Experience in the financial services and securities industry strongly preferred Solid understanding of Registered and Beneficial securities processing SQL experience is mandatory

Skills & Abilities:

+ Highly motivated team player with demonstrated ability to quickly become effective in a new position + Able to work with dynamic project teams with a wide range of business and systems partners in multiple locations
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing, facilitation, and the ability to clearly receive and convey information to a broad array of technical and non-technical people
+ Ability to distill and capture objectives and requirements from various sources for purposes of tracking and reporting
+ Microsoft Office skills, specifically Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
* Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time
