Role Description

We are currently seeking automation tester with an Fraud/Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Finance background to join our dynamic and growing Data migration services team in Pune. The person would work with the engineering team to understand the integration platform and test the pre-built data migration workflow so that they are fit for purpose. This role should have a good exposure to AWS cloud web SaaS solution ecosystem with an explore and challenge mindset. This role would be own the testing of the framework and connectors including performance testing.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering / MCA / MCM / MCS or degree equivalent.
• 8 - 11 years of software testing experience in a Test/QA Team with Enterprise Product preferably in financial risk domain

• Proficiency in Test Automation using
• Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Automation framework building and test suite/script development.
• Experience with a variety of test tools and software testing practices, including developing, implementing, maintaining and managing manual/automated testing systems and environments.
• Hands-on experience with Java or Python lang for automation testing.
• Experience in Automation hybrid ,data driven framework development using Python lang.
• Experience with basic database DML queries (MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Work as automation architects, engineers, and third-party vendors to understand high level design, cross-interface impact, architectural and non-functional features addressing the customer requirements
• In-depth understanding of smart meter test methodologies. Study test frameworks in market, perform technical analysis and design software/firmware automation test architecture.
• Provides overall leadership on test strategy, automation framework, script design, script execution, environment design and advanced Test Management strategies.
• Main objectives are improvement in testing effectiveness, cost and quality.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and gather automation requirements.
• Lead the design, development, debugging and implementation of test automation. Plan the schedule.
• Lead script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
• Conducting internal product demos and assisting stakeholders in demo activity
• Coordinating Agile sprint stories with team resources to ensure QA commitments are fully achievable
• Ensure that the product tested meets the quality goals of the product team
• Enhance Automation test framework and test suites
• Guide and train the team about Testing Methodologies, Standards, Tools and Practices, Testing Automation
• Translate the functional and non-functional requirement to test scenarios and test cases
• Ensuring overall product health and operation quality
• Ensuring that the automation framework uses best of breed technology including open source tools
• Conducting internal product demos and assisting stakeholders in demo activity
• Ensure that the product tested meets the quality goals of the product team
• Should be hands on in terms of defining test scope, test strategy, testing - manual and automation.
• Actively involved in the design, development and Monitoring of Automation Test cases. Identifying gaps in automation coverage and working with relevant stakeholders in preparing a strong backlog of items to work upon.
• Prepare and share overall quality status covering different dimensions at Unit level.
• Day to Day working within team to resolve issues and technically lead from front.
• Collaborating with multiple agile teams and process control leaders

• Exposure to Finance / Anti Money Laundering (AML). Product experience is a plus
• Hands on working knowledge for Automation test development using Python test scripting.
• Enhance existing automation framework developed in Python.
• Hands on working knowledge of Automation tools involving Selenium and Cucumber. Invoking regression packs from the CI/CD pipeline is a must have.
• Experience in Test Strategy, Test Scenarios and execution a must
• Exposure to enterprise software architectures, infrastructures, and integration with AWS (or any other cloud solution)
• Good communication skills (English)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A team player that demonstrates a strong work ethic, creativity, assertiveness, and flexibility

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature prioritization, and defining product specifications
• Experience with cloud-based delivery, SaaS, CI/CD, DevOps, and related cloud-based software development and delivery methodologies
