The Special Educator supports students with learning difficulties or special needs by providing assessments, individualized instruction, and inclusive learning support. The role includes creating IEPs, conducting remedial sessions, and working closely with teachers and parents to ensure student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and assess students with learning or behavioural needs.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Provide one-on-one and small-group remedial support.
Modify classwork and assist teachers with inclusive strategies.
Monitor and document student progress; share updates with parents.
Coordinate with counsellors and therapists when required.
Qualifications:
B.Ed / M.Ed in Special Education (RCI certified).
Experience in school-based special education preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication, empathy, patience.
Knowledge of learning disabilities and intervention techniques.
Ability to collaborate with teachers and parents.
