Job Description

We are seeking a

dedicated and passionate Special Educator

to join our team at a English Medium school in

Sonarpur, District 24 Parganas (South)

. The ideal candidate should have

3-4 years

of experience working with students with diverse learning disabilities and special needs.

Candidates residing in

Howrah, Behala, Hooghly, Majerhat, New Town, Lake Town, Salt Lake, and North 24 Parganas are requested

not to apply due to the distance constraint.

Role & Responsibilities

Create and implement

Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

for students. Develop and execute

individual education plans

tailored to each student's needs. Communicate effectively with staff and family members regarding student progress, challenges, and required interventions. Prepare

detailed lesson plans at least three months in advance

and submit them for administrative approval. Participate actively in scheduled

IEP meetings

as per school guidelines. Use appropriate

individualized reinforcement techniques

to support student development. Encourage

family participation

in the child's educational progress. Prepare and distribute

quarterly progress reports

. Collaborate with the

on-site therapist

regarding behavioral and disciplinary concerns. Maintain a

safe, supportive, and productive classroom

environment.

Requirements

Diploma, B.Ed, or Master's degree in Special Education

(mandatory). Valid

Moderate/Severe Special Education credential

. Experience working with children with multiple disabilities, including: Autism Spectrum Disorders ADD/ADHD Learning Disabilities Developmental Delays Abuse/neglect-related concerns Strong ability to

evaluate students objectively and accurately

communication, documentation, and teaching skills

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
