Job Description

The Special Educator at Sparkle Child Therapy Center is responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other special needs. The educator works closely with therapists, psychologists, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic development and integration of the child in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify each child's educational and developmental needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with the therapy team. Provide structured academic and functional skill-based instruction tailored to the child's learning style. Use multi-sensory teaching techniques and specialized strategies (e.g., ABA, TEACCH, play-based learning). Modify general education curriculum to meet individual needs. Track progress, maintain documentation, and provide monthly reports to parents and the center. Collaborate with therapists (speech, occupational, behavioral) for integrated intervention planning. Offer remedial sessions for children facing academic difficulties. Conduct parent training sessions to guide home-based learning. Maintain discipline, safety, and emotional well-being in classroom settings. Participate in workshops, training sessions, and regular staff meetings.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (RCI approved). Fresher can also apply Strong understanding of developmental milestones and intervention strategies.

Skills Required: Patience, empathy, and good communication. Knowledge of various learning disabilities and therapeutic approaches. Ability to work in a team and adapt to each child's unique requirements. Record-keeping and documentation skills.
