Vacancy: Special Educator

Location:

Seawoods, Nerul

The

Stellar Don Bosco Academy

is seeking a

dedicated and compassionate Special Educator

to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and skilled in developing individualized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation:

Assess students' abilities, needs, and progress to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Individualized Instruction:

Design and implement customized teaching strategies and materials to support each student's learning goals.

Resource Room Management:

Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour.

Collaboration:

Work closely with teachers, parents, caregivers, and therapists to ensure coordinated support.

Behavioural Support:

Develop and apply interventions to address and manage challenging behaviours.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and reports for parents and administrators.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements in special education.

Advocacy:

Ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations.

and regular communication with specialists are essential. The role requires adaptability, patience, and a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (

RCI-certified preferred

- Rehabilitation Council of India*).
Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills. Prior experience working with children with special needs is an advantage.

Compensation:

A

percentage-based / shared compensation structure

will be offered, as per the Academy's policy.
