Job Requirements - Special Educator (School Setting)

1. Academic & Professional Requirements:

M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology (mandatory) B.Ed in Special Education (mandatory) Additional certifications in special needs education, child psychology, or counseling (preferred) Knowledge of IEP frameworks, assessment tools, and intervention strategies

2. Experience & Skills:

Prior experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, LD (Learning Disabilities), and other SEN needs Ability to manage and intervene in cases involving anxiety, emotional regulation issues, self-harm tendencies, and trauma Experience in conducting group therapy, behaviour modification sessions, and life skills training Familiarity with classroom accommodations and curriculum modifications Ability to perform individual assessments and maintain case documentation Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school counsellors Capability to design child-centric intervention plans and behavioural goals Understanding of inclusive education practices

3. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement

Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Conduct regular one-on-one and group sessions Provide classroom support and work closely with teachers Monitor student progress and maintain detailed reporting Conduct workshops / awareness programs for parents and teachers Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students with special needs Participate in school events, meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?44,000.00 per month
