Bachelor's, Diploma, or Master's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field. RCI Certification preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with young children with diverse needs in an inclusive setting.
Sound understanding of early childhood development and inclusive education practices.
Familiarity with the
Kreedo curriculum
or other structured play-based learning frameworks is an added advantage.
Experience using assistive technology and Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM) to support young learners.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience in working collaboratively with therapy teams (e.g., speech, occupational, behavioral).
Key Responsibilities:
Individualized Learning Support:
Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that align with the Kreedo curriculum and cater to each child's unique developmental goals.
Monitor, review, and update IEPs regularly in collaboration with the therapy team and teaching staff.
Lesson Planning & Delivery:
Co-plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that align with Kreedo's multi-sensory and experiential learning approach.
Adapt lesson plans and activities for diverse learners using inclusive strategies and assistive tools.
Inclusive Classroom Management:
Maintain a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Apply positive behavior support techniques and social-emotional learning strategies suitable for preschool-aged children.
Therapy Integration:
Work closely with the in-house therapy team to embed therapy goals into daily classroom activities.
Observe and share insights with therapists to ensure consistency between classroom and therapy interventions.
Collaborative Teamwork:
Coordinate with lead teachers, assistant teachers, and therapists to create an integrated, child-centered learning experience.
Participate in curriculum meetings and child progress reviews.
Parent Engagement:
Build trust and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.
Conduct regular updates, participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), and provide strategies for supporting children at home.
Documentation & Assessment:
Maintain thorough records of lesson plans, student observations, assessments, and progress reports.
Conduct ongoing formative assessments to guide instruction and measure development.
Extracurricular and Enrichment Activities:
Support the planning and facilitation of inclusive events, play-based activities, field trips, and parent-child workshops.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on best practices in early childhood special education through workshops, courses, and in-house training programs.
Share learnings with the wider team to strengthen inclusive practices across the center.
