Job Summary:

Chitkara International School is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team for both Panchkula and Chandigarh Location.

Required Experience:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Assess students' skills and learning requirements to provide personalized learning experiences. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student progress. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success. Monitor and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Provide support and guidance to classroom assistants and other support staff. Stay updated with the latest educational practices, tools, and resources in special education. Conduct regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies based on students' performance and feedback. Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes students' social, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications:

B.Ed. or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Proven experience working with students with special needs. Strong understanding of diverse learning disabilities and effective teaching methods. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and support staff. Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
