Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and monitor
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
for students with special needs.
Collaborate with subject teachers, counselors, and parents to support
inclusive classroom practices.
Assess students' academic, emotional, and social progress and adapt strategies accordingly.
Provide
academic, emotional, and social support
tailored to individual student needs.
Listen to students' concerns related to academic, emotional, or social issues and guide them appropriately.
Improve students'
social skills, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Counsel students, process their challenges, and help plan achievable goals and action steps.
Evaluate and report on student progress using appropriate tools, including
psychometric assessments.
Research and implement new methods to enhance student wellbeing (e.g., mindfulness, behaviour strategies).
Provide guidance and support to
parents and guardians.
Maintain accurate records and participate in regular meetings and reviews.
