Doon International School, Sangrur is seeking a dedicated and qualified

Special Educator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with diverse learning needs, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the school counsellor to ensure inclusive education for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students' individual learning requirements and develop tailored education plans. Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to support students with special needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and teaching methods. Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare progress reports. Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student performance and strategies for home support. Promote inclusive practices and provide guidance to staff on supporting diverse learners. Stay updated with current best practices and developments in special education.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent qualification). Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Empathetic, patient, and passionate about working with children with special needs. Prior experience in a school setting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ?10,355.39 - ?20,000.00 per month
