Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Collaborate with store operations and finance teams to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all accounts payable activities. Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy. Provide support in month-end closing activities including reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions. Monitor and report on accounts payable metrics to drive continuous improvement in processes. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits and reviews. Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize financial systems and processes. Train and mentor junior staff on accounts payable procedures and best practices. Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with company standards and legal requirements. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance the accounts payable function.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial regulations. Demonstrate expertise in store operations finance and accounting principles. Have experience with accounting software and tools for efficient financial management. Show ability to analyze financial data and implement corrective actions. Exhibit excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and vendors. Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Hold a degree in finance accounting or a related field with relevant certifications preferred.
