Spare Parts Sales Executive (end Of Life Vehicles)

Job Description

Responsible for selling recycled automotive parts to customers, including repair shops, dealerships, and the public. This role combines sales expertise with inventory management and a strong knowledge of vehicle parts and systems.

Key responsibilities include:Sales and Customer Service

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers (in-person, by phone, or online), listen to their needs, and assist them in identifying the correct spare parts required for their vehicles or projects.

Product Expertise:

Provide detailed information on product specifications, pricing, and compatibility with various vehicle makes and models. This includes knowledge of recycled parts, remanufactured components, and potential interchangeability.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Negotiation and Closing:

Utilize strong sales and negotiation skills to present product benefits, discuss pricing, and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Issue Resolution:

Handle customer complaints, returns, and issues in a professional manner, finding appropriate solutions and coordinating the exchange of defective parts if necessary.

New Business Development:

Prospect for new customers and accounts, and actively solicit business from assigned territories through personal visits and phone contacts.
Inventory and Operations Management

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts to avoid shortages or overstocking, which includes assisting with restocking and organizing the storage area.

Order Processing:

Accurately process customer orders and transactions using point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management software, ensuring timely delivery of parts.

Parts Sourcing and Procurement:

Coordinate with internal teams or other vendors to locate or order parts that are not currently in stock, ensuring the best solution is found for the customer.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales transactions, customer interactions (often using CRM tools), and prepare regular sales reports for management review.
Product and Market Knowledge

Inspecting Parts:

Conduct or oversee inspections to determine the usability and quality of salvaged parts.

Market Awareness:

Stay updated on the latest automotive trends, market demands, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities within the recycled parts market.

Compliance:

Ensure all sales and handling of parts comply with company policies and relevant environmental regulations related to end-of-life vehicles.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
