Job Summary:

The Parts In-Charge is responsible for managing the spare parts department efficiently, ensuring the availability of required parts for workshop operations and retail customers. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory, monitoring stock levels, handling vendor coordination, and ensuring smooth workflow between the service and parts departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department. Maintain optimum stock levels of fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving parts. Receive, inspect, and store parts in accordance with company standards. Issue parts to service technicians and maintain proper records in DMS or ERP. Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery. Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate inventory records. Manage parts return, replacement, and warranty claim processes. Coordinate with the service team to forecast parts requirements. Handle retail parts sales and ensure good customer service. Monitor parts pricing, discounts, and billing procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the parts storage area. Generate periodic reports on stock movement, shortages, and consumption trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in automobile parts or warehouse management. Experience in DMS or inventory software preferred (e.g., AutoDMS, Tally, SAP).

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Computer literacy (MS Office, DMS/ERP systems). Effective communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a team and multitask efficiently.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
