Maintain accurate records of all parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and issuing.
Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize holding costs.
Manage the ordering and receiving of parts from suppliers.
Ensure the timely delivery of parts to workshops and service centers.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to parts.
Team Management:
Lead and supervise the parts department team, including parts attendants and warehouse staff.
Train and develop team members on inventory management procedures, customer service skills, and safety practices.
Financial Management:
Monitor parts sales and revenue.
Control parts costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare reports on parts inventory and sales performance.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized parts warehouse.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
4+ years of experience in parts management within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
Excellent inventory management skills, including experience with inventory control systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
