The Spare Parts Executive is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, storage, and distribution of automobile spare parts. The role ensures timely availability of genuine parts for service, repair, and sales operations while maintaining accurate stock records and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store automobile spare parts as per company standards
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP / DMS software
Issue spare parts to service technicians and customers as per job cards
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions to avoid shortages
Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for ordering and delivery of parts
Ensure proper labeling, binning, and housekeeping of spare parts warehouse
Handle spare parts billing, invoicing, and documentation
Manage warranty parts and returns as per manufacturer guidelines
Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices for parts movement
Handle customer queries related to spare parts availability and pricing
Support service advisors with parts estimation and availability checks
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of automobile spare parts and components
Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/DMS software)
Good inventory and stock management skills
Strong coordination and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Time management and organizational skills
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in any discipline (Automobile Engineering preferred)
Certification in inventory or warehouse management is an advantage
Experience
1-3 years of experience in automobile spare parts or service department(Freshers also can apply)
Freshers with automobile knowledge may also be considered
