Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Spare Parts Executive specializing in the automotive industry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of automotive spare parts, ensuring seamless supply chain operations that support our service and repair departments. Your expertise will help optimize parts availability, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline warehouse processes. Responsibilities



Manage inventory levels of automotive spare parts using ERP systems and order management software to ensure optimal stock availability. Coordinate with suppliers and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partners to source high-quality parts at competitive prices, negotiating terms to benefit the company. Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, storage, and inventory control to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and equipment repair knowledge to verify parts compatibility and quality standards. Implement demand planning strategies based on historical data, sales forecasts, and dealership requirements to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Collaborate with automotive service teams to fulfill parts orders promptly, ensuring timely delivery for repairs and maintenance. Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, pricing negotiations, supplier performance, and inventory movements using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and AS400 platforms. Conduct regular warehouse audits and inspections to uphold safety standards, including forklift operation where applicable. Support procurement management initiatives by analyzing data entry accuracy, inventory trends, and logistics processes to improve overall supply chain efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests swiftly and professionally while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Experience



Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors. Strong background in procurement management, sourcing OEM parts, and negotiating supplier contracts. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, auto body repair processes, and automotive service operations. Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving procedures, inventory management, and equipment repair. Knowledge of ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms used for order processing and inventory control. Experience working with dealership environments or in automotive repair shops is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Mechanical aptitude combined with data entry skills for accurate record keeping and demand planning analysis.
