Job Summary:

The Spare Parts Asst is responsible for managing the availability, storage, and supply of automotive spare parts and accessories for the service department. This role ensures timely parts availability for vehicle servicing, maintains inventory accuracy, coordinates with suppliers, and provides excellent support to technicians and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage spare parts inventory for the workshop and service center.

Ensure the availability of required parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts deliveries.

Issue parts to technicians as per job card requirements and record transactions accurately.

Prepare purchase requests and follow up with vendors for timely supply.

Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory records in the system (DMS/ERP).

Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Monitor parts movement and manage fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.

Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the parts store/warehouse.

Handle warranty parts return and claims as per company policy.

Provide support to the service advisor and workshop team for parts availability.

Assist in preparing periodic reports related to stock, consumption, and shortages.

Coordinate with the accounts team for vendor bills and payment processing.

Skills and Competencies:

Good knowledge of automobile parts and accessories.

Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.

Familiarity with DMS / ERP software and MS Excel.

Strong coordination and communication abilities.

Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Additional certification in Inventory or Store Management will be an advantage.

Experience Required:

2-5 years of experience in spare parts or inventory management within an automobile dealership or service center.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
